This project was undertaken due to the existing floodlights and associated electrical works at Sydney Airport were designed & installed at various times over the last 20 years for the type of aircraft operating at the time. The general illumination on some Terminal parking bays was below that required by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority's Manual of Standards (MOS) for the type of large bodied aircraft now using the bays. |
